Children's Origami Workshop - Halloween Theme
Happy Halloween! This time round, KAMI, in collaboration with Melbourne Origami Club, will be exploring an exciting activity that involves "Tricks and Treats” - our Halloween Origami theme. We’ll be creating a series of fun and spooky models (Original Origami design) and participating children will learn and fold different models and keep adding to their collection from our earlier Forest and Ocean sessions. There will be pumpkin, cat and a mystery character, fun for one and all! Decorate the kid's room with these new range of origami in keeping with the tradition.
We’ve had great feedback from our Forest and Ocean sessions during the school holidays, we will continue to extend our introductory price for our Halloween program on :
30 October 2020 - Halloween Theme 4.30pm - 6pm
We’ve been listening, and completely understand the difficulty in getting Origami Paper during COVID-19 restrictions. To ensure a good time is had by all, KAMI has decided to give all our students complimentary Origami paper sheets. Please remember that delivery times are erratic these days, so to ensure that all our students receive their Origami paper on time, you must book as soon as possible to minimise delays.
If you are late with your registration, you may easily prepare your own square sheets for the workshop, and work with what you have at home.
5 pieces of 15cm x 15cm paper are all you need.
You can replicate your successes and practice your skills when you receive our complimentary paper at a later time.
At check out, you will have the option of ordering extra origami pack too, that will definitely give your child hours of folding fun.
We welcome any siblings or family members to join in the fun on this special occasion!
Our class is designed to share the fun of folding with children.
Age : 7 year and above (for children under 7, it should be guided by adults)
We are particularly thrilled to have Dr. Michael Assis, a mathematical physicist and a great origamist, teaching the classes.
Origami: A great gift for children

Being able to transform a flat sheet of paper into a 3-dimensional form, using only hands, seems almost magical Origami is not just fun and pretty looking.
