In this 2.5 hour workshop, you will create a unique style of Japanese art, cutting layers of different papers to reveal designs. You do not have to have any artistic skills to do this workshop!!

Robyn learned this traditional art form when she lived in the Japanese countryside and Tokyo for 6.5 years. She met her wonderful Japanese teacher at an exhibition and started having private lessons with her, they created designs inspired by traditional Japanese icons and events.

Come along and immerse yourself in this meditative, therapeutic art form and create your own A4 size artwork to take home.

The workshop was a lot of fun and a lovely casual way of getting to learn the art of Japanese paper cutting in a great setting...and the tea and biscuits were a lovely bonus too.

Thoroughly enjoyed the paper cutting workshop. It was a nice small class which was good as we were able to get help when needed and Robyn explained the technique very well. Robyn was very patient and very helpful. Would recommend the class to anyone wanting to learn a new craft. The Kami paper shop was a great venue I would be going back to get more paper supplies. Lots of fun for a Saturday morning. Thank you Alison

Thank you Alison for your kind review. We look forward to your next visit.

Great venue. Was so absorbed in getting design cut that the time went too quickly. Very friendly people.
